Hiwada Matsuri is a regular festival of Ichiinomori Hachiman Shrine, which is held on August 12 and 13. The shishimai lion dance performed to the accompaniment of Japanese flutes and songs is very unique and cannot be found in other regions of Shinshu and Hida, where one male lion and two female lions dance. It is a kagura that begins with Akurejishi, followed by Makugire and Suzu no Mai, and is concluded with Hempetori.

Kibyu Matsuri is a regular festival of Kibyu Hachiman Shrine, which is held on the fourth Saturday of August. Keitoraku, which heralds the start of the festival, is a parade to expel evil and purify the site with small-bird feathers, which are rarely seen in the Hida region. Otabi called Myoken Matsuri is also held.

Kamigahora Matsuri is a regular festival of Dogo Shrine and is held on the first Saturday of September. The festival is started by paying respects at Motomiya, which was submerged by dam construction. In the dedicated kagura, children play a big role and brave figures can be seen in Kodomojishi or lion cubs.
