Tsunagi district of former Mikawa-mura where a beautiful rural scene extends. Eighty households with 230 persons live there. The district once bloomed as a post station on the former Aizu Road that connects Shibata to Aizu. Inamushi Okuri is an event to pray for getting a good crop and for protecting rice suffering from insect pests. The event was practiced without a break even during and right after the Second World War, and presently, the event is held in July every year. Children play leading parts. The video film shows the scene of children who teach each other how to beat a drum, old stories being told by elderly people, preparing altars with sweetflag and mallow, and how the festival is enjoyed on the day.
