The autumn festival (Kido-sai Festival) of Kido Shrine in Miyose, Hidakagawa-cho, is presently held on Sunday, one day before Sports Day (second Monday of October).

This festival is operated by four young mens associations (young groups), and in the event at otabisho or a branch shrine where the god is worshipped for a specified short period, Toyaj-jishi lion dance is performed by one of the four young mens associations by turns every year. In addition to this, yotsudaiko or four drums, yatai or carts, and dashi or floats are dedicated as divine entertaining events, and the festival is brought to a finish by the gallant horse-driving event.
